4×4 Vehicle Route of Doñana Southern Area

Live an extraordinary adventure through the Doñana National Park in an SUV 4×4 that you will never forget. The unforgettable memory of a unique experience.

The visit will last 240 intense minutes (4 hours) loaded with areas and points where we will show you the best and most outstanding of its flora and fauna. The guided tours are carried out accompanied by a driver-guide and all Doñana ecosystems are covered on the same itinerary. We will leave the Acebuche Visitors’ center, near Matalascañas, to enjoy the sunrise or sunset inside the National Park.

After crossing more than 30 kilometers of pristine beach with our 4×4, we will discover the end of the Guadalquivir river. We will visit the stonepine forests and La Plancha old town.

We will discover the natural marshes of the south area where many different birds pass during the year enjoying the weather and the water. Also we will discover some mammals like deers and wild boars that live during the year.

The Doñana Mobile Dunes system, unique in Spain, is one of the park’s most peculiar landscapes. They are very interesting, both ecologically and culturally. The dunes are formed by accumulations of sand whose advancing front has a steeper slope than the displacement part called the tail.

The movement of the dunes from the beach buries and destroys the vegetation that is in its path, forming the “corrals”, pine groves and thickets between two dunes.

It is a route to live intensely and to never forget.
