About the activity
What will we do?
Our tour starts from Seville at sunrise and crosses the emblematic town of Coria del Río, on the banks of the Guadalquivir.
It is the place chosen to enter the natural area and pass through the Dehesa de Abajo, a place located in the northern part of the marshes. There you will see many birds among the lagoons, pine forests and pastures.
We will pass through the rice field and the largest stork colony in Europe. The marshes house 200,000 individuals each year of more than 300 species of birds that make this wetland the most important in the continent.
Doñana is a natural space that houses many species of birds and mammals, among which the fallow deer or the representative Iberian lynx stand out.
From this point we will go north of the marshes of the river where the largest colony of white storks in Europe, a beautiful spectacle.
Our tour will continue until we reach the northern part of the Doñana National Park, followed by the village of El Rocío, which is characterized by a typical atmosphere of the far west and its famous Rociera pilgrimage.
Here, the group will visit the famous Shrine of Our Lady of Rocio, popularly known as the Hermitage of Rocío.
After the visit to the town you will discover the Palace and the trails of the Doñana National Park, next to the La Rocina Stream. The beach will be another of our stops where you will see the largest dune system in the country. And if the weather is nice and you wish, you can enjoy a refreshing swim on the beach.
Finally, on the way to Seville and enjoying the sunset, the guide will accompany you to the wooded area of the National Park to see some mammals that you had never seen before while in contact with Nature.
During the winter we enjoy the sunset and during the summer we will start early in the morning.
